Description

stems 7.5-12.5 cm long, erect, clustered; leaves 8-10, 7-15 cm x 12-20 mm, oblong-linear, keeled, bifid at apex with a small tooth in between, mottled with brownish-purple; inflorescence 7-12 cm long, densely flowered, axillary, several at a time; flowers 17-20 mm across, deep pink; floral bract minute, the ovary and pedicel 10 mm long; sepals and petals about equal, spreading obovate, 6-8 mm x 4-5 mm, labellum with obscure sidelobes or none, ending in a long flexuose, cylindric, spur, 10 mm long and inflated at the bend; apical lobe liner-oblong, sub-acute, entire with upturned apex; pollinia 2, globose, deep purple.

 

Flower color deep pink.

Nepal, Sikkim, Darjeeling, Bhutan, Khasia Hills, Bangaladesh, Burma, Thailand.
