Description |
Pseudobulbs obpyriform, compressed, crowded, imbricate,
smooth, 2.5-3.5 cm placed obliquely on stout fibrous
rhizomes; leaf elliptic-oblong, 7.5-15 cm x 2.5-5 cm
ending in short petiole; flowers 1-3, 25 mm across, from
base of pseudobulb, pale yellow spotted with
crimson;sepals ovate-lanceolate, sub-acute; petals
smaller than the sepals, 7 nerved; lip thick, secreting
nectar profusely, decurved form below the middle,
lanceolate, the base having small toothed auricles;
column with short triangular projection about middle |
