Description |
stems stout, 60-90 cm long; leaves thick, several, 25-35
cm x 40-50 mm, elongated-oblong; inflorescence upto 15
cm long, erect, leaf-opposed, stout, with 1-2 short
lateral branches; flowers with superior labellum,
crowded, fleshy, only partly open, 12-15 mm across;
sepals subequal, oblong-elliptic, 13-14 mm x 7-8 mm;
petals oblong-oblanceolate, falcate, upto 12 mm x 4 mm;
both sepals and petals of pale lemon yellow with
tranverse stripes of crimson; labellum white with purple
spots, 3-lobed, and very shortly spurred; lateral lobes
erect, narrow, hairy within; apical lobe ovate, very
fleshy, slightly recurved, concave; column very short
with 2 short horns.
