Symptoms
Chlorotic lesions appear first near the leaf
margin and progresses towards the centre in
the form of āVā shape yellow spots. The vein
turns brown and finally black in the
affected area which may extend beyond the
chlorotic region reaching the petiole and
stem. The affected area turns brown and
dies.

Acidic soil favours the disease incidence.

transmitted from the affected plant debris of previous season
left in the field.

Measures

Follow crop rotation for 3 year with non- cruciferous crops.
